Last month Austube Mills received a visit from senior management team representatives from leading Taiwanese steel maker, Chung Hung Steel. The team visited our Newcastle and Somerton sites as part of an ongoing partnership started by our General Manager, Richard Clement, almost three years ago.
These successful visits formed part of our ongoing business commitment to expand international partnerships with leading steel makers. These high calibre partnerships are critical to our ability to sustain and grow our capabilities, ensuring we continue to develop and grow as a world-class manufacturer.
Our guests, lead by Chung Hung Steel Chairman, Mr Yu-Soong Chen, first met with Mr Clement and staff members at the Newcastle site before flying to Melbourne to visit our team at Somerton.
This is the third visit in three years, highlighting the importance of this mutual business relationship in identifying current and future industry opportunities, and continuing to strengthen agreements between our two companies.
We have long and proud associations with a number of high-level domestic and international businesses. These associations also provide development opportunities for emerging leaders in the business to experience benchmarking opportunities and gain industry specific exposure at an international level.
It is these strong business relationships which support and drive our commitment to provide world-class products manufactured at internationally competitive prices and to Australian steel tubular specifications.
